We utilizes analytics to continuously optimize their process with the goal of making their supply chain faster, more efficient, and responsive to market dynamics and consumer needs. Through a partnership between analytics and supply chain, we are able to deliver 1.3 billion products to their consumers each year. **The opportunity** We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to support our projects as a part of their Data Products & Reporting organization within Commercial Analytics. **Your Key Responsibilities** You will be part of a multi-functional agile squad responsible for driving scalable data architecture, delivering thoughtful data products that answer business questions, and maximizing analytics return on investment. Day to day responsibilities include: - Working closely with business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into analysis requirements and define data product details - Document systems and analytics solutions and be able to translate technical jargon into business-friendly terminology - Conduct structured end to end analysis to inform product strategy, data architecture, and reporting decisions - Prototype and drive the vision for future state data architecture - Develop sql queries and be comfortable creating data visualizations to fulfill ad hoc analytical requests - Monitor data pipelines and solve operational and data issues - Validate data pipelines to ensure data integrity and consistent reporting of analytics metrics and dimensions **Skills and attributes for success** - Naturally curious about data and ask lots of questions - Be able to dig into the data to determine a solution for ambiguous business questions - Have a strong understanding of data architecture principals - Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge - Establishing strong relationships with the clients - Interfacing with stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, clarify, and complete project requirements **To qualify for the role you must have** - A bachelor's or master’s degree - Around 3 or more years of related work experience in Data & Analytics, Operations, or Supply Chain - Strong experience in data architecture and integration technologies (ETL, data ingestion and distribution patterns, large data processing on distributed platforms, data warehousing) - Expert level proficiency in SQL - Hands on experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets - Hands on experience documenting business requirements, processes, and analytics solutions - Experience translating business objectives and requirements into data architecture - Ability to develop structured analysis supporting data architecture or product strategy decisions - Strong understanding of database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, etc.) - Experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Cassandra, Pig, Hive) - Proficiency with cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) - Working knowledge of agile methodologies and principles such as Scrum, Kanban, and LEAN - Experience with presenting and communicating analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal form - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to assimilate new knowledge - Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add analytics solutions - Excellent leadership and teaming skills - Fluent in English **Ideally, you’ll also have** - Experience with statistical packages (R, Python, MATLAB, SAS, Stata) - Experience with source controls (Github, Bitbucket) and workflow scheduling tools (Airflow) - Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) - Expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data management, ETL processing, API integrations, and data governance - Prior consulting experience **What we look for** We’re interested in passionate leaders with strong vision and a desire to stay on top of trends in the Digital Analytics Data industry.
