Job Description "> Recurly is seeking a seasoned iOS SDK Engineer to spearhead the development and maintenance of our mobile foundation, driving real-time personalization, campaign delivery, and analytics integrations within third-party mobile applications. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, build, and release of our iOS SDKs and related tools, fostering seamless integration with our partners. This opportunity calls for an engineer who embodies a product mindset, exudes a strong sense of ownership, and prioritizes developer experience. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, platform teams, and Customer Success teams to build scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our partners. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and user-friendly iOS SDKs and demo apps. - Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, adhering to quality, reliability, and backward compatibility standards. - Publish SDK releases for public and partner use, accompanied by clear documentation and versioning. - Collaborate with platform teams and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client-to-platform integration. - Write automated tests and adhere to best practices to ensure maintainability and robustness across iOS versions. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and edge-case behaviors on iPhone, iPad, and tvOS devices. - Adapt to a fast-paced, agile development environment with shifting priorities and evolving product goals. Required Skills and Qualifications - At least 5 years of professional experience in developing iOS applications or SDKs. - Expert-level proficiency in Swift, including SwiftUI and UIKit. - Experience in developing iOS libraries or SDKs used by external teams or partners. - Deep understanding of app lifecycle, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization on iOS. - Skilled in writing unit and integration tests for iOS (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest). - Experience publishing SDKs using Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods. - Hands-on experience developing for both iPhone and iPad. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments.
