Business Segment Overview: A Swift-accredited service bureau and member, our Payments division provides NGOs, institutions and non-profits the ability to make a local difference, globally – with transparent pricing across 180+ countries and 140+ currencies. Responsibilities Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Engineer - Application Support to join our dynamic team to support mission critical Payment Applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting production environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications and databases. You will play a critical role in resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, and supporting database and application-related issues in a 24x7 environment. Primary duties will include: Client Onboarding: - Lead technical onboarding of new clients, ensuring environment readiness, data provisioning, and access configuration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor onboarding workflows to client-specific needs. - Provide training and documentation to clients on system usage and support channels. UAT Support: - Act as the primary point of contact for UAT issue triage, resolution, and coordination with development teams. - Monitor UAT environments, ensuring stability, data integrity, and timely deployment of test builds. - Analyze logs, trace issues, and provide root cause analysis for UAT defects. Production Support: - Provide L2/L3 support for post-go-live issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. - Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes in line with ITIL best practices. - Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for recurring issues. Agile & DevOps Collaboration: - Work closely with product owners, QA, and developers in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning). - Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and monitoring tools. Qualifications To land this role you will need: - Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework/Core or Java MongoDB, and SQL Server. - Exposure tocloud platforms(Azure, AWS, or GCP) for hosting, monitoring, and deployment. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and version control (Git). - Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. What will make you stand out: - ITIL Foundation certification. - Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe). Education Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
