About the Role: "> As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the kitchen department. Your primary goal is to ensure superior quality and consistency in the preparation of all food items. "> Your Responsibilities: "> "> - Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the kitchen department. "> - Assist in the planning and development of menus for the hotel. "> - Ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration. "> - Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control. "> - Maintain control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency. "> "> What We're Looking For: "> You will need a college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should have three to five years of previous experience in multiple culinary/food & beverage management positions. "> Skills and Abilities: "> You require a working knowledge of division operations as well as our cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. You must also be able to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems, as well as possess reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
