Our personalized approach ensures you're matched with companies that value your contributions and offer opportunities for growth. Whether you're a software engineer, designer, marketer, or other tech professional, we're here to help you take the next step in your career. Company Overview: Our client is a U.S.-based EdTech startup helping students master logic and reasoning through a test that plays a key role in law school admissions. The company is led by a best-selling author and educator, and their current platform is already in use by paying students. They’ve validated their approach and are now ready to grow. The next step is turning a functional MVP — built with low-code tools like Bubble and Airtable — into a scalable web product with a better student experience and new AI-powered features. They’re looking for a senior engineer who can take ownership of the platform and help guide its technical future. Your Role: You’ll join as the first full-time engineer. The product works today, but it needs someone experienced to improve how it performs and evolves. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Director of Ops, making decisions about performance, architecture, and what gets built next. This is a hands-on role with high autonomy and visible impact. Key Responsibilities: Take over and improve a working MVP (built in Bubble, Airtable, Make, and Webflow) Lead the transition to a custom full-stack platform (likely React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS) Build and maintain new features, including AI-based tools (OpenAI APIs) Maintain a small legacy web app and improve existing automations Collaborate on product and business decisions — not just technical ones You Bring: 4+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend-leaning engineer Solid knowledge of web development (JavaScript, Node.js, React or Vue, etc.) Experience building and maintaining products with users Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions Strong written and spoken English — you’ll work directly with U.S.-based teammates Based in Latin America and looking for a long-term remote role. Nice to Have: Experience migrating from low-code to custom-coded platforms Familiarity with AI tools and APIs (e.g. OpenAI, LangChain) Background in small teams or startups where you wore multiple hats Experience improving performance, automations, or internal tooling What’s Offered: 💸 Monthly pay in USD — $4K–$6K depending on experience. 🌎 Fully Remote — Work from anywhere in Latin America with flexible hours. 💥 Impact : Your work will directly support students on a mission-critical platform. 🤝 Clear Ownership — You’ll shape the future of the product and tech stack. 🧘‍♂️ Lean Team — Work closely with decision-makers and see your ideas implemented quickly. Interview Process: 1️⃣ Application Review – We’ll review your resume and responses. 2️⃣ Recruiter Call – A short intro chat with our team. 3️⃣ Technical Challenge – A hands-on test of your problem-solving and communication. 4️⃣ Hiring Team Interview – Meet the person you’ll report to. 5️⃣ Final Interview – A discussion with leadership and a look at next steps. 6️⃣ Offer — contract issued and onboarding begins We’re hiring quickly—if you love building smart systems and want your work to directly impact students, we’d love to meet you.
