The QA Automation Engineer also collaborate with the development team to define test plans and strategies. Additionally, the QA Automation Engineer is responsible for analyzing test results and reporting any defects or issues to the development team. Will assist in identifying the root cause of any problems and work closely with the developers to resolve them. Will also document test cases, processes, and results to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date record of test activities. **Location**:Position will be based in Colombia. Occasional travel to other Chubb offices or business locations will be required. Travel will be 20% or less. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with the QA team to identify test requirements, design test cases, and develop automated test scripts using industry-leading tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, or Appium. - Work closely with the development team, utilizing version control systems like Git, to identify and resolve any software defects or issues, and participate in code reviews. - Design and execute regression tests using test management tools to verify the impact of changes or updates to the software. - Analyze test results using tools like Splunk or ELK stack and generate comprehensive reports to communicate any defects or issues to the development team and stakeholders. - Participate in requirement analysis using collaboration tools like Jira, create test strategies, plans, and schedules. - Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the automation testing process by staying up to date with industry-leading tools and emerging trends such as shift-left testing or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Collaborate with QA and development teams to define and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product managers and designers, utilizing project management tools like Jira or Trello, to ensure the software meets customer expectations and user requirements. - Document and maintain test cases, scripts, and other testing artifacts using tools like Confluence to ensure clear understanding and reusability of the automated test suite. - Conduct root cause analysis for any identified defects using tools like Jira and collaborate with the development team to address them.Provide guidance and support to the QA team members, conducting knowledge sharing sessions and utilizing collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, to foster a culture of automation testing excellence and continuous learning. **Experience** - More than 3 years performing well in complex business and technical environments. - Experience in Automation scripting and Test over the entire Software Development Lifecycle. - Expertise in planning and performing test planning, execution tasks and defect management reporting. - Working experience with JIRA and other collaboration tools. - Working experience with Selenium, Cypress, TestNG. - API Test tools experience such as Soap UI, Postman, JMeter. - Prefer experience using SQL and other non-relational databases. Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. - Significant knowledge and testing experience in the use of Agile testing methodologies. **Requirements**: - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes - Ability to drive results, with limited management oversight. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with teams. - Able to work in a fast pace agile environment. - Proven ability to scale testing approaches to meet demand. - Prefer knowledge or experience in agile methodologies. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a collaborative setting. - Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a positive attitude. - Very strong oral and written communication skills. - Must also have experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft SQL Server. - ISTQB certification or similar will be an advantage.
