Backend Engineer We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Artisan. At Artisan, we're creating AI Employees, called Artisans, and software that is sleek, easy to use, and replaces the endless stack of point solutions. We're starting with outbound sales and our AI BDR, Ava. Our platform contains every tool needed for outbound sales - B2B data, AI email sequences, deliverability optimization tools, and more. We're growing rapidly and aim to build a multi-billion dollar company. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement foundational platforms and systems to develop tools that integrate with our Artisans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Develop containerized applications using Docker for streamlined deployment and testing. - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive enhancements to programming practices and tools. - P present technical information to teams and stakeholders, providing guidance on development processes and technologies. Requirements: - 3+ years of full-time engineering experience, with a focus on back-end systems. - Experience in software development, distributed systems, and public cloud platforms (AWS preferred). - Proven track record of independently managing successful engineering projects. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with containerization and deployment technologies. - Knowledge of NoSQL and structured databases. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and CI/CD tooling.
