We’re currently seeking a motivated SOC Analyst to join our high-powered Cyber Defence team and 24/7 SOC based in Sotogrande . We’re looking for a local candidate who is energetic, eager to learn, and passionate about Cyber Security and solving puzzles. In this role, you’ll be part of our daily operations, shadowing our experienced Cyber Defenders with the goal of achieving Level 2 Analyst status within a year. You’ll also have access to a top-tier learning and development platform to build the skills you need to succeed. As our SOC Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of our cyber defence efforts, helping to monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents and client tickets. Key Developmental Areas & Responsibilities: Alert Analysis – Review and analyse alerts to identify potential security incidents, such as network intrusions, malware infections, or unauthorised access. Compliance Monitoring – Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and cybersecurity best practices. Reporting & Documentation – Generate detailed reports on incidents, trends, and findings, and maintain accurate records of SOC activities. Customer Service – Assist clients by responding to queries and tickets professionally and promptly. Collaboration – Work closely with SOC analysts, incident responders, and technical teams to manage tickets, share knowledge, and improve security operations. Continuous Learning – Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices through training sessions, webinars, and industry events. Qualifications: Strong interest & background in Cyber Security. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical details clearly in English (team support available). Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations. Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and network monitoring). Ability to analyse data from various sources to identify trends and potential threats.
