Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Hexagon SmartMaterials System Administrator to join the Digital group in Missisauga. This journey will lead to improve project outcomes, being able to leverage the digital twin, systems integration and interoperability, support for decision-making, autonomous execution, and integrated operations and performance centers. - Proactively bring alternate and improved methods to establish first in class Hexagon’s SmartMaterials delivery and effectively collaborate with all participants involved in the process - Respond to requests and priorities set by the iPas MP (SmartMaterials) Product Manager - Develop and support custom features for Smart Materials using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, Angular, SSRS, Power BI and APIs - Assist in the provision of estimates of effort for technical design and development activities - Proactively participate in the software design process including the creation and review of functional and technical specifications - Interact with users and the functional team to diagnose issues and answer queries - Actively provide input into continuous improvement of the technical environment - Participate in the development and support of automated data interfaces to other systems - Participate in product upgrades and provide support during upgrade verification - Assist with the development and support of reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI - Collaborate with other iPas teams on cross-practice requirements - Assure software quality through conformance to standards - Adhere to and give input into Hatch policies and procedures for systems development and projects **You bring to the role**: - Strong verbal and written communication - Extensive and demonstrable development and support experience with Smart Materials - Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL - Technical knowledge in developing with SSRS Reports (SQL Server Reporting Services) - Experience with Application Express (APEX) and Java - Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of responsibilities and tasks - Willingness to work occasionally after-hours as part of a cross-functional team supporting global projects **Working knowledge in the following areas is considered an asset**: - Azure SQL DB Certified - desirable - Oracle Certified (Desirable) - SQL Server Certified - desirable - .NET experience - Agile Methodology and use of DevOps - Strong client focus - Willing to travel occasionally as required Why join us? - Work with great people to make a difference - Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions - Top employer What we offer you? - Long term career development - Think globally, work locally We're committed to fostering a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we operate and serve.
