About This Position We are seeking a Gender and Diversity Economics Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C. As part of our Social Sector team, you will work on designing and implementing investment operations, technical assistance, analytical work, and training that promote gender equality, inclusion, and economic opportunities for women and diverse population groups. Key Responsibilities - Lead the strategic alignment of bank loans during design and implementation phases. - Conduct cutting-edge research on gender and diversity topics. - Support the mainstreaming of gender and diversity in operational, analytical, and strategic activities. - Engage in policy dialogue with government authorities and development partners. Requirements - Master's degree in economics, applied economics, public policy, econometrics, social sciences or related field. - At least 4 years of relevant experience in economic development, including a focus on gender and diversity issues. - Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese). - Citizenship of one of our 48-member countries.
