Job Description: * DUTIES AND **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inspections to determine existing inventory location and quantity at INL warehouses and forward operating locations (FOL), and update inventory database. - Create and publish reports and charts of inventory conditions and activities. - Process documentation and verifies local transfers, donations and disposal of government furnished equipment. - Works in conjunction with Embassy personnel throughout the process to ensure satisfactory completion of processes and documentation. - Monitors usage for expendable merchandise by analyzing past purchases and usage trends - Responsible for ensuring all program supplies, equipment, and real property are correctly recorded in the property book. - Respond to emergency inventory concerns as necessary. - Document variances between inventory reporting system and actual inventory levels observed. - Conduct investigations into inventory variances and generate report with conclusions. - Develop countermeasures to address causes of lost inventory and to prevent recurrence. - Initiate Loss, Damage, or Destroyed (LDD) reports as needed. - Provides information and support to the INL end-use monitoring (EUM) team. - Coordinates with the INL procurement office, program managers and advisors, in order to properly identify the quantity of stock items available in the inventory, verify the rate of use to determine future purchases and to arrange storage or delivery of items in the warehouse. **Job Requirements**: **MINIMUM **QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION**: The person filling this position must have as a minimum High School diploma or equivalent **LANGUAGE **LEVEL**: - Spanish level IV: Fluent - English level II: Limited Knowledge **EXPERIENCE**: - Must have at least Two years of progressive experience in logistics activities, with one year of Inventory Control experience. **KNOWLEDGE** OF: * - Extensive knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, supply procedures, and property management is required. **SKILLS **IN**: - Conflict management skills are required to resolve internal and external situations satisfactorily. - Must have the abilities and skills to communicate effectively with host nation and U.S. officials. Additionally, should be able to communicate with laborers and vendors. - Capable of traveling to austere Forward Operating Locations as required - Safely carry out projects without presenting a direct threat to self or others. - Organize, analyze, schedule, and maintain accurate records of individual work performed. **ABILITY **TO**: - Understand and follow oral and written instructions in the Spanish language - Interpersonal communications abilities - Work cooperatively with other US Government and Colombian employees - Productively work with little or no supervision - Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others **TRAINING**: - Incumbent should have previous training HAZMAT and US Government equipment disposal training as needed - Valid Colombian Driver’s License required - Incumbent should have previous basic training in procurement forms and procedures. - Basics of operating office automation equipment. - Office automation software processing procedures and function keys to execute basic office automation functions.
