For nearly two decades, Zonar Systems has been pioneering products and services that are laser-focused on making the transportation industry more efficient, more productive, and safer. The Product Security Engineer will provide technical leadership in Security across Zonar products. This will include design, installation, operation and maintenance of security related systems and tools, along with managing security processes across the Product and Technology organization. You will work collaboratively across departments at Zonar and Continental. Key Responsibilities and Duties: - Be responsible for security design and operations for customer facing and internal Zonar Products. - Provide security recommendations on application/service design, development and deployment to Engineering teams. - “Shift left” security implementing Secure Software Development practices like DevSecOps, Threat Modeling, Secure Coding, etc. - Identify, detect and remediate security risks in Zonar Products and Google Cloud. - Monitor security advisories from vendors, government agencies, etc recommending and implementing threat remediation where necessary. - Respond to Customer requests for security details on Zonar’s various products. - Collaborate with IT Security on pertinent initiatives, tools and processes. - Interface with Continental as the Zonar representative on Security related initiatives and tasks. - Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security technologies. - Attend security conferences and technical meetings to remain abreast of the latest security developments. - Develop and provide general security and specific technology training for Engineers. - Obtain an industry standard Security Certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - 2+ years of related Engineering/Security experience. - Experience with SaaS products, APIs and service architectures. - Experience with threat modeling and DevSecOps. - Experience with scripting and software development experience (Python, Golang, Linux, etc). - Knowledge of Cloud native architecture and security tools. - Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills. - Security related tools and processes in Google Cloud (SCC, IAM, GKE, etc). - Computer forensic skills. - Prior experience developing and implementing security policy and/or standards. - Experience with security frameworks like ISO27001, SOC2 and FedRAMP.
