The purpose of the internship program is to provide the **university student** with an opportunity to develop professional skills, gain practical experience, and gain exposure to Control Risks’ business methodologies. All this in a dynamic, demanding and rewarding work environment where she/he can put into practice the knowledge acquired during her/his studies and learn, while looking for solutions to real life problems. **Responsibilities** - Support different security and risk consulting projects to research and other activities. - Support executive protection tasks and engagements. - Able to organize and present orally and in writing concise information in connection with projects assigned. Most of the communications (oral and written) will be in English. - Engage in creative thinking and general problem solving. - Assist with scoping of engagements and management of day-to-day activities. **Requirements**: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree - Business fluency in English/Spanish languages (both written and spoken) - Ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines - Experience with IT tools such as Microsoft Office and other programs - Practical experience of living, working and traveling in Latin America - Ability to identify and interpret events and developments of potential interest or concern to Control Risks’ client base - Commercial awareness - Positive attitude - Innovative, creative and willing to contribute to multiple projects - Analytical - never stops asking why, or how to improve - International in outlook and informed about global current events - Collaborative and a team-worker - Tolerant and able to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment - Passion, flexibility, desire and ability to learn on-the-job
