This role will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure KPIs are aligned with strategic goals, supported by robust data pipelines, and presented in a clear, actionable format. Key Responsibilities: KPI Development & Management - Partner with department heads (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to define, refine, and align KPIs with business objectives and strategic priorities. - Ensure KPI data is accurate, consistent, and relevant by working closely with cross-functional teams. - Establish and manage a structured process for periodic KPI reviews and updates as business needs evolve. - Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines to aggregate data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, third-party tools). - Ensure data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance and cost-efficiency. - Monitor and troubleshoot data flow and integrity issues, ensuring high reliability and uptime. KPI Calculation & Reporting - Automate KPI calculations on a regular cadence (daily, weekly, monthly). - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that present KPIs in a clear, intuitive, and actionable format. - Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure reporting meets the needs of both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Reporting & Presentation - Deliver concise, visually engaging reports to department leaders, executives, and investors. - Prepare and present ad hoc KPI reports to support strategic decisions, business reviews, and investor updates. - Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI trends, anomalies, and performance patterns. - Identify opportunities to enhance reporting systems and data infrastructure in collaboration with stakeholders. - Stay current with industry best practices in data engineering, analytics, and visualization. - Contribute to the company’s data-driven culture by promoting best practices and supporting broader data strategy initiatives. Qualifications: Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying. - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). - Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and automation. - Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Professional Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role with a focus on KPIs, reporting, and data pipelines. - Experience integrating data from various sources (CRM, financial systems, web analytics, etc.) into unified reporting systems.
