Senior Accounting Analyst About the Role: - Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. - Prepare account reconciliations, identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve issues. - Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies, support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Key Responsibilities: - Support management in the implementation of financial projects to ensure timely and accurate outcomes. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for LATAM. - Ensure compliance with year-end requirements in each LATAM country. - Oversee the execution and completion of internal and external audits for LATAM operations. - Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and internal controls. - Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to enhance the efficiency of accounting and financial processes and strengthen cross-departmental coordination. - Reconcile, analyze, and report on expenses, revenue, variances, and balance sheet accounts for LATAM. - Lead pre-closing and closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for LATAM. - Identify opportunities for automation and propose improvements to accounting processes. - Provide insightful reports, presentations, and analyses for assigned projects and tasks. - Coordinate accounting activities across multiple LATAM countries to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Engage with other departments to identify and implement improvements in shared processes. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting. - +5 years of proven experience as an accountant (desirable on financial companies). - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Knowledge in financial modeling tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - IFRS or US GAAP knowledge. - Intermediate or Advanced English level.
