Job Description: The Cloud AppOps team has the following duties: Perform operational duties including application server health, service recycling. Identify and resolve operational issues (e.g., batch failures, network issues, client data feed errors). Monitor server performance, memory utilization, CPU, file systems, databases, batch jobs. Maintain operational documentation, e.g., incident tracking and run books. Produce metric reports including daily production status. Review client support tickets and requests under service SLAs. Resolve level 2 and level 3 issues (application support, databases, and data center related issues). Document issues in the customer support portal. Provide on-call support during off-hours and work during non-prime shift hours. Qualifications: At least 2 years of application/production support experience, including cloud-based hosting administration, management, and performance tuning under high-availability SLA environments. Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. Knowledge of ETL processes is a plus. Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH, and basic scripting skills. Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. Understanding of complex process and data flow. Effective and proactive communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal stakeholders and customers. Experience in application debugging, performance tuning, and scalability. Familiarity with application security best practices and compliance. Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to multi-task and provide rapid support in production environments. Must be able to provide on-call support and work during non-prime shift hours.
