Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled professional to advise on sexual and reproductive health and rights in the region. This role will involve collaborating with countries and partners to define priorities, strategies, and objectives for influencing different regional and global spaces. The successful candidate will provide direct technical assistance, oversight, and capacity transfer to grants portfolios funded by donors such as Global Affairs Canada and Global Fund. Additionally, you will support engagement in influencing activities and scaling-up of work in SRHR through building and securing strategic partnerships, resource mobilization/grants acquisition, knowledge management, and organisational learning. Main Responsibilities: - Technical Support: Provide expert guidance to select SRHR-focused projects in the region, including designing programme implementation plans and annual workplans. - Quality Assurance: Ensure technical quality in the implementation, monitoring, and timely reporting to various donors and dissemination of project objectives, results, achievements, and impact. - Project Oversight: Collaborate with Plan Canada and Regional Office of Americas and the Caribbean (ROA) to develop and maintain cohesive project support team structures to provide effective oversight to projects and strategic decisions. Requirements: - Postgraduate degree in development, health, social sciences, or other relevant discipline. - Demonstrated expertise and at least 5 years professional experience in SRHR, protection rights, gender equality, inclusion, and intersectionality in Latin America. - Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, relationship, and management skills. - Able to work collaboratively in a team and facilitate multi-person teams through full proposal development life cycle. - Proven experience of working remotely with colleagues in different geographical locations and strengthening local teams' capacity. - Strong communication skills, including virtually, across cultures, generations, and matrixed environments.
