**Job Summary**: Prepare responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), presentations, case studies and any other request for written information on behalf of the BCD Travel commercial teams. Supports and assists team members for the purposes of proof reading and editing the same. **Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities**: - Writes quality responses to requests for a wide variety of proposals including multinational proposals, as well as researching answers required to respond the RFPs. - Works with business development personnel to ensure our features and benefits for prospective and current customers are well articulated and clear throughout any submission. - Manages the proposal development process and individual bid team to ensure timely proposal completion including; acting as primary point of communication within the proposal development process; establishing and managing timelines and deliverables; scheduling meetings, taking and distributing meeting notes; coordinating with the pricing team and ensuring that the proposal is submitted to client according to established deadlines and delivery methods. - Leads conference calls/meetings with multiple levels of management and contributors; keeps calls on topic and ensures appropriate sales strategy is developed; works with stakeholders to validate strategy in global business context. - Ensures proposals, supporting materials and client-facing documents are accurate for grammar, style, continuity and content. - Proof reads and edits proposals and business development/marketing materials, as needed, to improve clarity, accuracy and readability. **Essential Job Functions**: - Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly - Must be able to take direction and work well with others - Must be able to work under the stress of and meet deadlines - Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures - Must be able to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned **Education / Knowledge / Experience**: - 3-5 years writing experience - Work experience within business environment - Effective communication skills, oral, written and presentation - Experienced with MS Word, Excel - Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - Graduate in English language or journalism
