The primary focus of theAccelya Pricing Specialist working on a Pricing Support Team is to support airline customers worldwide and internal team members with shopping/pricing inquiries, analyze if the shopping and pricing response is correct, identify problems when not correct and recommend solutions. What you will do: · Working with airlines directly, perform research and analysis on shopping and pricing inquiries including automated reissues, and refunds using ATPCO Automated fares and rules. In addition, other ATPCO subscriptions for taxes, optional services, fees, etc require support and analysis. · With focus on shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds, support cross-functional teams on pricing related projects. · Support internal QA, development, and functional support teams by assisting with functional questions. · Perform testing of development fixes and changes including the review of regression results. · Collaborate among other Pricing Specialists · Attend customer meetings where a pricing SME is required · Expected to become the subject matter expert (SME). · Support developers working on pricing related functions. · Conduct internal training and/or Quality Assurance overviews. Your Experience: · Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing especially Voluntary Reissues (Cat 31) and Refunds (Cat 33) · Explicit knowledge of ATPCO Taxes, YQ/YR Fees, Bags & Optional Services subscription services · Overall knowledge of ATPCO fares and pricing, in particular ATPCO Data Application · Overall knowledge of the airline industry · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills · Efficient time management and presentation skills · Works well in a team environment · Strong analytical and problem solving skills including critical thinking · Confidence to participate and contribute within a technically-advanced, fast-paced, highly-skilled environment. Qualifications · 3+ years’ experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency) · In depth knowledge of ATPCO Data Application for fares and pricing including Cats 31 & 33 · Knowledge of IATA Fare Construction · 3+ years experience in performing airline pricing analysis using ATPCO fares and rules.
