Key Responsibilities - Develop control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels. - Provide thought leadership and participate in projects involving upstream or downstream data flows and processes. - Ensure controls are in place over applications to guarantee data integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis. - Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with business owners and IT. - Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries, and provide reports. Responsibilities - Prepare monthly/quarterly claim analytics reports for management. - Analyze key performance indicators for the Claims organization. - Work with large datasets for ad hoc reporting and trend analysis. - Assist with forecasting and claims strategy. - Help with fraud, subrogation, medical management, and legal analytics. - Manage various claim-related databases. - Research data irregularities. - Present all data in a clear and concise format. Requirements - Prior experience as an analyst and/or knowledge of data mining is preferred. - Prior insurance or reinsurance experience is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong analytical and time management skills. - Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure. - Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions. - Ability to deliver a high level of customer service. - Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), Power BI. - Intermediate level proficiency with VBA. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Outlook.
