What You'll Bring: MBA degree with global strategy experience or experience with strategy consulting would be preferred. At least 8yrs of general business work with experience on strategy development and business planning with strong facilitation skills. Financial and/or credit industry subject matter expertise/ proficiency Knowledge about the credit reporting industry or International business planning experience. High degree of intellectual curiosity with a successful track record of driving ideas to implementation. Experience collaborating cross-functionally within an organization Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team in a rapidly changing environment. Good project management capabilities and high attention to detail; comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables. Sound business judgment and excellent problem solving and influencing skills. Proficient financial, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts in order to assess implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities. Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in providing crisp, insightful information to executive teams. Impact You'll Make: The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Planning, will: (i) support the regional business planning process, ongoing planning activities, strategy development; and (ii) identify, evaluate, develop new go-to-market strategies focusing on opportunities to grow LATAM business organically. This role will report to the Area Leader, VP of Strategy and Planning, and will align with her to execute area priorities and business projects. Based on this alignment and direction, this person will manage the team strategy team and will work tightly with the LATAM executive leadership team to help plan and develop long-term goals and short-term objectives. He/ she will support the execution of regional business plans and key initiatives, track competition and identify threats and opportunities, and report progress and analyzes issues that affect productivity, profitability, and growth. Design, facilitate and manage the strategic planning process in line with the regional objectives. Drive the pre- and post-meeting work involved for all planning sessions. Continually assess cross-industry best practices, new business models and techniques to enhance current International and regional planning practices. Integrate creativity into strategy formulation and execution. Execute ad hoc strategic analysis for the leadership team. Gather competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis, monitor strategy, and predict competitive response for key competitors. Partner with Finance to integrate business planning and financial planning into a seamless planning process for the regions. This would include establishing linkages between the portfolio management, budgeting and planning processes. Integrate the impact of strategic and tactical plans on the P&L and associated budgets. Align and synchronize management accountability reporting between this function and Finance. Lead primary and secondary research and analysis to inform market entry/market expansion opportunities. Translates these insights into material for senior TransUnion stakeholders. Build trusted relationships with product and industry experts and other key decision- makers to gather insights and develop actionable go-to-market plans. Support business case development for new opportunities and partner with the regional teams, and global knowledge experts, to facilitate and enable import/export of global IP. Support the execution of the regional business plan and track and report current year progress. Facilitate best practice and knowledge transfer where appropriate. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
