Job Responsibilities: - Prepare customs forms for import, export, and transit procedures to ensure timely shipments by air, such as master guides, cargo manifests, general declarations, invoices, and documentation. - Prepare forms detailing customs duties, taxes, and VAT. - Facilitate cargo release with international manifests. - Ensure ramp activities comply with country policies, tax laws, and FedEx rules. - Interact with customs officials and coordinate customs activities. - Contact customers about additional tax payments. - Maintain organized customs documentation. - Classify and transfer cargo to other airlines when required. - Process flight information submissions through customs systems. - Track cases for various shipments. Required Experience: - Technician or technologist in international trade or business with at least two years of experience handling air cargo, procedures, policies, customs laws, and clearance processes. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Driver's license preferred. - Strong administrative skills and computer knowledge. - Proficiency in English in the customs area. - Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
