Medical Science Liaison Manager Role We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison Manager to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. About the Job This role will involve overseeing the effective and efficient performance of individual MSLs and the MSL team, ensuring tactical execution of Strategic Engagement Plans. Main Objectives - Demonstrate Value: Coach, develop, and lead the MSL team aligned to the FOUR core accountability areas: Scientific Engagement, Insights Generation, Support Data Generation, and Internal Collaboration. - Country Medical Plans: Co-create/develop country medical plans with TA Medical Managers, Medical Directors, or MSL Heads, and lead team execution to ensure alignment to medical priorities. - Talent Management: Ensure individual and team performance goals are set and met through monitoring metrics, resources, and budgets, ensuring excellence in execution and achieving KPIs. - MSL Engagement: Ensure continuous talent engagement and retention strategies are in place utilizing clear career pathway and development plans. - Scientific Exchange: Ensure that MSLs engage in fair and balanced scientific exchanges with key external stakeholders by maintaining relevant, robust, and current clinical/scientific knowledge of the healthcare landscape. The ideal candidate will have a post-bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field. They should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex environments and motivate teams. Key Responsibilities: - Team Coaching: Regularly understand areas of strength and areas for development through coaching sessions with MSLs around the FOUR core accountability areas. - Development Planning: Lead and guide individual and team development (clinical, technical, and leadership skills) through customized training plans. - Medical Strategy: Participate in the development of Medical Plans and align MSL initiatives and resources to medical strategic priorities. - Data Analytics: Use data analytics to review and optimize territory reach in three countries: Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. About You - Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or in a related field. - Education: Post-bachelor's degree from an accredited university in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field. - Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex environments and motivate teams.
