Job ID 55705 Location Columbia Full/Part Time Full-Time Hiring Department eLearning Job Description The Director of Design Services will play a pivotal role at Mizzou Online in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of online instructional and media design services for the University of Missouri. This role involves providing design, development, and evaluation services to colleges, departments, and faculty, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, and promoting effective online course and program design strategies. This position will lead a team of instructional and experience designers, and work directly with support services including Academic Technology, Program Coordination, Office of Accessibility, and Office of Student Affairs. The Director will attend the annual on-site Mizzou Online All Staff Retreat, Director Retreats, and other events as needed. Travel is expected to be minimal. Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of experience, Master's or PhD in relevant fields, experience leading instructional design teams, project management experience, and remote work experience.
