The role: We are looking for a Paralegal who wants to work on cutting-edge technology, privacy, and cybersecurity matters. Requirements: 3+ years in contract management/paralegal roles (drafting, analysis, research) Excellent legal research chops Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced setting Comfortable working with minimal direction Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Responsibilities: Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end contract processes (intake, review, approval routing, signature, archiving). Maintain and update contract templates and clause libraries. Track obligations, renewal dates, and key milestones. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients to keep execution workflows on track. Support pre- and post-signature tasks (redlining, finalizing). Assist attorneys with ad-hoc tasks as needed. Draft, format, and proofread commercial agreements (SaaS, software licenses, NDAs, DPAs, etc.). Conduct first-level review of inbound contracts using approved checklists. Monitor U.S. and global privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR) and maintain compliance trackers. Summarize contract provisions and regulatory updates. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on privacy, technology, and cybersecurity issues. Help maintain internal and external knowledge management (playbooks, guides).
