Title and Summary Senior Specialist, Legal Services - Overview: The GBSC (Global Business Solutions Center) is Mastercard's shared services organization. In alignment with the One LFI model, GBSC partners with the Law Department to build a legal shared services function. Located mainly in O’Fallon, MO, in a collaborative environment, with regional hubs providing additional support, GBSC serves all regions and business units across 50 countries. The Senior Specialist, Contract Services, is part of the contract negotiation team within GBSC Legal Services. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, Sales Contract Services, this role manages end-to-end contract services for a Mastercard Cyber & Intelligence business, focusing on delivering excellent customer experiences and efficient business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end contract preparation and execution for assigned transactions, from request receipt to signature. Review contract requests to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Draft and negotiate routine vendor and commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, software licenses, support service agreements, consulting agreements, etc. Coordinate with business units and subject matter experts to prepare, revise, and execute agreements per policies and playbooks. Analyze contract terms to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Provide high-quality customer service, meeting Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience; JD or advanced education is a plus. Strong legal and business acumen with analytical skills. Ability to manage tasks of varying complexity and priority. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration. Advanced negotiation skills. Judgment to know when to escalate or exercise discretion. Customer-focused service orientation.
