Primary responsibilities will include: Providing multi-level database troubleshooting and technical support to Tier 2 Client Support staff. Working closely with Tier 2 Client Support staff as well as acting as interface between Tier 2 and product development/engineering/third party vendors. Collaborating with Product Development and implementation teams to resolve client issues. Performing fault reproduction, troubleshooting, system characterization and analysis, root cause analysis of product issues, bug tracking, and resolution. Addressing software defects and advanced customer issues with timely resolutions. Working with QA, Development, and Operations teams to understand issues and resolve them. Suggesting enhancements to existing algorithms and services. Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members to develop features without jeopardizing other application areas. The Candidate: Required skills/qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. 4-7 years of experience in software development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams. Exceptional listening, written, and verbal skills. Experience with SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and troubleshooting. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Understanding of SDLC phases. Knowledge of CI/CD using cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps. Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, XML, SOAP). Understanding of database structures and administration principles. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English at CEF B2 level or above. Preferred skills/qualifications: Knowledge of NLog, Application Insights, Hangfire, Azure File Storage, WCF Web Services, OData protocol. Experience with security testing of web applications. Agile and SCRUM experience. SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. This job description is not exhaustive and may be amended by management as needed.
