When You Join Johnson & Johnson, Your Move Could Mean Our Next Breakthrough. **Purpose**: As a Buyer II you will be responsible for supporting IT Category **for Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Central America, and Chile.** This individual will be responsible for handlings Sourcing Cases according to the Category Strategy developed by Regional Category Leader, lead bidding process based on strategic sourcing principles, develop, and implement proactive projects, supervise, analyze, and report on the organization’s activities and ability to deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and Drive the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community. - Lead bidding process based on Strategic Sourcing principles and acting proactively to find opportunities of cost reduction and customer experience. - Implement and develop strategic plans for IT Category based on Category Strategy and Spend Management. Ex: _Creation of suppliers / improvement of existing or new purchasing channels. _ - Interact directly with vendors to ensure JNJ goals are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, and cost. - Partnering with Category Leads to deliver annual value improvements driving competitive advantage. - Supervise, analyze, and report on the performance to financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments. - Implementation of category strategies including negotiations, spend management, and cost savings. - Provides support in the management and prioritization of the portfolio of specific initiatives in the Procurement segment (Pharm and MedTech). **Qualifications**: **Qualifications and Requirements**: - Education: A Bachelor´s degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business, Administration, or related field. - Experience: A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience is required. Demonstrated experience influencing in a matrixed environment is required. - Languages: Advanced level of Spanish and English. Intermediate Portuguese. **Knowledge**: - Broad-based understanding of core Procurement areas of focus regarding Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation and Spend Management - Previous experience in Sourcing - Proven effectively working remotely with business partner. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills and cross-functional projects. **Soft skills**: - Analytical skills to perform data analyses in support of sourcing strategy development. - Able to prioritize requests and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when vital. - Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present sophisticated information **Other information**: - Location: Bogota, Colombia - Contract: Full time.
