Well established and respected home health services company based in Medellin Colombia operating in the telephone call centers sector is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong focus on PHP and MySQL, as well as proficiency in Laravel. This role requires excellent English communication skills, as you will collaborate in an international environment.You will play a key role in developing robust web applications and maintaining high standards in both front-end and back-end development.This is a full time position based in Medellin Colombia. Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain fullstack web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL. - Design efficient database structures and write optimized queries. - Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. - Ensure application performance, scalability, and security. - Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for coding standards. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications. - Use version control systems (Git) to manage codebase and project collaboration. Requirements: - Excellent English required - College/Technical degree required - 5+ years of experience in fullstack development. - Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL. - Mandatory experience with Laravel framework. - Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Vue.js/React/Angular preferred). - Solid understanding of database design and optimization with MySQL. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure. - Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. - Proficiency in working with Linux environments and scripting. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON. Plus Skills: - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud based services such as Azure App Services and Azure SQL. - Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Knowledge of deployment pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and server administration Soft Skills: - Ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment. - Strong problem solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in both English and Spanish.
