Position: Engineer, Security Platform Engineering, Orchestration and Logistics Purpose The Engineer in the Security Platform Engineering, Orchestration and Logistics team plays a critical role in shaping and communicating technical information, leading security platform-related projects, executive reports, and data-driven insights. This position is essential for ensuring effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, as well as contributing to the development of key documentation and dashboards. The candidate should have a strong command of various software tools, including Office 365, Power BI, and Jira, and possess exceptional communication and project management skills to support the team's objectives. Accountabilities Understand application and infrastructure concepts, and be familiar with cloud technologies to incorporate processes into security strategies and document security solutions implementation. Collaborate closely with security engineering and development team members to align content strategy with project goals. Provide support and assistance as needed to achieve team objectives. Work with SPE Operation and Support teams and vendors to understand operational challenges and contribute to solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy. Develop and maintain technical documentation, define and update processes and procedures, and create executive reports and user-friendly dashboards to support cybersecurity engineering projects. Use expertise in Power BI, Office 365 applications (Excel, Visio, SharePoint), and other relevant software to visualize and analyze key performance indicators, security metrics, and project data; manage and present information effectively. Promote a high-performance and inclusive work environment. Skills Knowledge of network security, architecture, and security applications infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud security and related technologies. Effective project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of vulnerability, incident, change, operational, regulatory, and IT risk management. Proficiency in Office 365 tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Power BI). Knowledge of log onboarding concepts and techniques. Attention to detail and quality assurance. Strong analytical skills. Nice to Have Experience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence. Experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Python, SQL, Ansible, etc. Education and Experience At least 3 years of experience in IT. Over 3 years of experience in developing security-related platforms.
