THE ROLE The Sales Associate's role is to facilitate the interaction between the company and its customers. They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by using their listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns. The role involves providing information about products or services, resolving issues, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Through the service provided, the Sales Associate builds and maintains strong relationships with both existing and new customers, understanding their needs and offering effective solutions that drive sales and contribute to the company's profits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as sales and accounting, to ensure consistency in product and service delivery. - Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements. - Share knowledge and advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions. - Verify product availability for customer orders and offer alternatives when needed. - Advise clients on current promotions, services, and available products. - Track the status of orders and ensure timely delivery or dispatch. - Submit reports on open orders as required in the SOP for this process. - Call existing customers to sell products. QUALIFICATIONS - Education: University education, areas related to sales, marketing, or graphic design. - Experience: in sales/customer service and sign-making industry or labeling/signage industry. - Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. This includes skills in active listening, persuasion, negotiation, and closing sales. - Technical Knowledge: Depending on the product or service being sold, specific technical knowledge may be required. For example, when selling electronic products, basic knowledge of technology may be helpful. - Computer Skills: Proficiency in the use of sales software, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, or other technological tools used to manage leads, track sales, and analyze data. - Attitude: Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward work and sales challenges.
