Your Role The Business Analyst (Insurance) reports to the Senior Director, Projects, and works closely with a team of Technical Integrators, QA, Project Managers, and Configurators. This role requires gathering formal requirements from clients and translating them into clearly defined deliverables for the implementation team. Your Responsibilities 1. Drive requirement sessions with clients around policy administration business processes, technical processes, and non-functional requirements. 2. Translate insurance product requirements into business and functional requirements, and translate insurance business processes, market practices, and other client business needs into specific software requirements. 3. Work with team leads and client Subject Matter Experts to identify and document solutions, define project scope, project estimates, and timelines. 4. Present and recommend solutions to clients that meet their business needs. 5. Support project managers and development teams by owning documentation of detailed business requirements, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and identifying out-of-scope requirements and change requests. 6. Travel to client offices when necessary. Requirements - A university degree or commensurate experience, and the ability to communicate, write, and synthesize information. - 5-6 years of experience in a similar role. - Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries. - Proven ability to gather and document complex business requirements with attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data sets. - Experience in leading and facilitating workshops with clients. - Formal business analysis experience. - Experience in client-facing projects, not just internal initiatives. - Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment. - Knowledge of the Agile methodology. - Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish (spoken and written).
