CI&T; is looking for a talented and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for coordinating QA resources for IT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in and implementing the test strategy, reviewing requirements as testable, and developing test cases supporting the approved test strategy. This position will contribute to project efforts for high-quality, defect-free deployment according to schedule. Requirements: 1. 5+ years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment 2. Demonstrated experience with defect tracking, test case, and requirements management software, preferably JIRA/Microsoft ADO 3. Demonstrated ability to apply a wide range of software test engineering concepts: testing principles and concepts, defect tracking and correction, testing status assessment, role in software development and acquisition, risk analysis, and acceptance testing; test management, planning, design, and performance 4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to prepare release notices and end-user documentation for technical and non-technical staff 5. Ability to work independently to achieve goals in a fast-paced agile R&D; team 6. Serve as a high-level technical resource and “go-to” person for less experienced Engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight 7. Thorough knowledge of agile development and best practices 8. Translating business requirements into functional and technical test cases for thorough coverage of new features 9. Creating and executing detailed test scenarios and cases, including objectives, steps, and expected results, ensuring application functionality and error handling perform as expected 10. Ensuring defect tracking system is updated daily and running reports to identify trends and team activity status 11. Assisting development and database teams in troubleshooting complex technical or end-user scenarios 12. Generating test data to validate requirements and expose defects 13. Guiding team members and collaborating with testers and developers to implement test plans 14. Managing testing efforts across multiple projects Additional Requirements: 1. BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 2. 5+ years of QA/Testing experience 3. 5+ years of SQL experience 4. 5+ years of data validation experience 5. Experience with ADO/JIRA or similar defect-tracking systems 6. Experience with REST/JSON/XML testing (e.g., SoapUI) 7.
