Senior External Engagement and Communication Manager This role plays a critical part in our organization's efforts to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, donors, and partners. As a Senior External Engagement and Communication Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of an integrated communication and external engagement strategy that supports our functional and national objectives. You will be responsible for: - Developing and executing a comprehensive communication plan that includes executive communications, grant/local donation and in-country partnership and resource acquisition, brand & content development, mass & digital media engagement, and reputation risk & emergency communications. - Providing strategic leadership to ensure delivery of expected results on key functional areas, including executive communications, grant/local donation and in-country partnership and resource acquisition, brand & content development, mass & digital media engagement, and reputation risk & emergency communications. - Liaising with senior leaders and other departments to ensure alignment and effective cross-function coordination. The ideal candidate will have: - A Master's degree in media studies, journalism, mass communication, English, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in communications leadership, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies. - Excellent skills and knowledge in creative storytelling, corporate communications, marketing, and brand management. - Experience working with a humanitarian organization or involved in humanitarian work is an advantage.
