We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in achieving business success. In this position, you will act as a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of the insurance value chain, including underwriting, rating methodologies, policy management, and billing operations. This role requires exceptional skills in defining API requirements and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver impactful solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Product Owner, assisting with product management tasks and taking responsibility for specific areas Serve as the main bridge between business and technology teams to ensure alignment on objectives and solutions Engage with business users daily to analyze and document processes, workflows, and requirements Work with business and technical teams to design comprehensive and efficient solutions across multiple systems Ensure that delivered solutions align with business objectives, compliance guidelines, and technical standards Convert business needs into detailed functional requirements and technical specifications for development teams Use techniques such as walkthroughs, document analysis, and workflow modeling to gather and validate requirements Draft clear and consistent requirement statements to ensure accuracy and reliability Provide support to business and technical teams to achieve accurate and timely results Assist in resolving business challenges, troubleshooting issues, and offering alternative solutions where applicable Requirements A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline At least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in software development initiatives A minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership or team management roles Expertise in defining and managing API requirements Experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly in Scrum teams Ability to translate business needs into actionable and well-defined requirements Proficiency in creating documentation such as process flows, business use cases, and data flow diagrams Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and workshops Skill in leading review sessions for business and functional requirements, ensuring approval and agreement from stakeholders Collaborate with development and QA teams to maximize the use of pre-built functionality where applicable Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively Ensure that proposed solutions enhance efficiency and maintain consistency across business processes and systems Contribute to user acceptance testing by participating in planning activities, developing test plans and scripts Guide the UAT process and assist project managers in securing user acceptance signoff Advanced English skills, both written and verbal, at a C1 level or higher Nice to have Expertise in the insurance industry, including an understanding of specialized processes and workflows We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
