Aboutthe role: The Steward ensures the proper use and preventivemaintenance of machines and equipment, maintains inventory ofdishes and kitchen utensils, ensures the cleanliness of kitchensand their equipment, and handles waste. What you will do: -Establish and verify that job roles are designed according to staffcapabilities and skills. - Verify the order and cleanliness of theassigned area for storing chemicals. - Open and close the serviceshift verifying the attendance of work teams, punctuality inservice, and completion of tasks in areas, ensuring everything iswell stored and in order. - Review the cleanliness of all areas, aswell as refrigerators and chambers, ensuring they are perfectlyclean inside and out. - 100% compliance with hygiene and cleaningprograms in production kitchens and consumption centers. - Maintainkitchens, storage, corridors, and areas in optimal conditions ofcleanliness, order, and safety. - Keep kitchen major equipment andother operational equipment in optimal condition. - Analyze,supervise, and control expenses by consumption center withoutexceeding the budgeted expenses. - Ensure the availability of foodand beverage operational equipment through monthly inventory takingby consumption center, food and beverage storage, and replenishingshortages to consumption centers according to their par stock, aswell as preparing the annual purchase plan for food and beverageoperational equipment. Requirements: - Professional in foodengineering, industrial engineering, or similar fields. - Minimumof 3 years experience leading medium teams (10-20) in kitchencleaning (stewarding) with high staff turnover.
