Job Req Number: 65520 Time Type: Full Time **WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR FREIGTH FORWARDER** **LOCATION: BOGOTÁ** **Duties and responsibilities**: - Taking care of proactive communication, both internally and externally. - Building a close customer and carrier relationship. - Monitoring shipments and signaling or adjusting deviations. - Identify opportunities and proactively propose improvements and solutions. - Recognizing risks and tackling them together with customers and carriers. - Keep files up-to-date and inform your own customers in a timely manner. - Check and process existing documents and shipments in system. - Maintain close contact with shipping companies, terminals, truckers, and overseas colleagues. - Organize post-transport after arrival of containers at terminals. - Taking care of additional administration and invoicing. - Processing payment to the terminals and steamship lines as needed. - Prepare reports for customers and management. - Resolving ad-hoc irregularities related to ongoing files. - Additional administrative tasks, such as processing lists, checking and entering data. - Ability to manage multiple tasks with different levels of priority. - To be prepared to learn all aspects of the team’s work with desire and ability to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. - At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as a Forwarder Import. - Good knowledge and experience with import sea freight shipments. - Fair knowledge with import air freight shipments. - Proficient with MS Office Products: Outlook, Excel, and Word. - Ability to work with MS Excel is **required**. - You are customer - and service-oriented, punctual and have a flexible attitude. - You are eager to learn the diversity of logistics/supply chain / 4PL. - Highly organized and detail oriented. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Good command of spoken and written English. - Strong communication skills, and analytical thinking. **DSV - Transporte Global y Logística** DSV es un lugar de trabajo dinámico que fomenta la inclusión y la diversidad.
