Backend Systems Developer We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume, fault-tolerant, scalable backend systems and services. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into well-architected technical solutions. You will create architecture and design documentation, estimations, and user stories that support agile delivery. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. - 6+ years of professional experience in software development. - Strong experience designing and maintaining Microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Proven ability to build, enhance, debug, and tune backend applications in high-throughput, low-latency environments. - Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). - Familiarity with distributed caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached, ElastiCache). - Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, including services like Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and CDK. - Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform). - Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication flows, and encryption fundamentals. - Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
