Job description Define, in coordination with the South Regional Manager, Country Manager, partners, and Trading team, the import sales strategy and sales plan (per market segment and product line) to achieve the annual budget, market share, and growth goals. Drive market development by identifying and analyzing new market opportunities for ArcelorMittal products and trading business within the country. Prospect and develop relationships with potential new customers by actively engaging with purchasing departments of end-users, service centers, mill depots, and steel buyers. Analyze, propose, and develop customers with an HAV focus. Coordinate and implement the sales plan, engaging the Sales and Inside Sales teams. Identify demand, coordinate offers with ArcelorMittal plants and/or Trading, quote to customers, and coordinate order entry into SAP with back-office platforms. Coordinate selling activities within the AMI LATAM domestic mill sales teams to prevent inter-group competition. Coordinate orders with Logistics to ensure customer and mill purchase pricing alignment, avoiding negative margins. Utilize technical resources and coordinate with CTS for specifications, technical protocols, and quality claims. Consolidate forecasts for each partner or trading supplier, providing insights into customer consumption and market trends. Monitor and analyze market results constantly. Develop relationships with key customers and market players to ensure satisfaction. Report on current market activity, including price and demand changes. Provide researched, concise, and timely reports as required. Ensure all selling activities comply with fair trade practices to avoid investigations. Applicant attributes Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both oral and written. Stakeholder management orientation. Minimum of 10+ years experience in sales and marketing within medium to large companies. Experience with imports and/or exports is highly desirable. Experience in the steel industry is highly desirable. Experience in trading business is highly desirable. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus. Fluent in Spanish and English.
