Key responsibilities: Support site/project management and frontline teams to identify HSE hazards in their workplace and select controls to eliminate or reduce these. Support site/project management in her/his duty to identify the root-causes of incidents and eliminating these, inc. the facilitation of learning teams. Facilitate HSE legal compliance by identifying applicable legal requirements and advising site/project management on the ways in which compliance can be achieved. Regularly inspect direct and contractor working practices and factors which may affect health and safety, contributing to the QHSSE Certification assurance framework. Advise site/project and contractor management on the planning and organisation of work including: How to eliminate HSE risks through the (re-)design of workplaces and operational activities; Elimination or reduction of risks derived from changes to the design of the workplace or the way it's being used; The prevention of risks through selection, maintenance and condition of installations, machinery, equipment, and tools used as part of work; Control measures needed to mitigate risks radiating from substances used or present in the workplaces. Provide information and training, and education in the field of HSE upon request of site/project management. Coordinate and assure the implementation of emergency response capabilities (first-aid, fire and evacuation). Act as the contact person to external HSE consultants where needed for highly specialized risk controls. We are looking for: Graduate student in Occupational Health and Safety; also qualified as a Trinorma Auditor. At least 3 years of experience serving as an HSE Analyst, HSE Coordinator, SST Coordinator (Occupational Health and Safety), or Quality Analyst in forwarding and/or logistics companies. Experience in project cargo is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site and regional leaders. Must be detail-minded and technically oriented to comfortably deep dive with project teams to understand the operations process for H&S risk assessment. Have the ability to work with people at all levels in the organization. Experience working in MS Office. English proficiency (written and spoken) is a plus.
