Job Title: Customer Facing Solution Validation Service Engineer This role involves supporting customers in validating their solutions. Responsibilities include: Engaging with customers and Cisco stakeholders to plan and execute validation engagements. Supporting Webscale or Enterprise customers to accelerate platform/solution implementation. Validating new design solutions to meet customer requirements. Driving requirements discussions, analyzing test requirements, building test lab configurations, authoring and executing test plans, and documenting results. Identifying key issues and gaps, collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them. Working with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams to meet customer needs. Innovating to improve efficiency and accelerate validation efforts. Collaborating with engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Minimum Requirements and Skills: 10+ years experience working with Cisco Campus Routing and Switching (R&S), CCNA required, CCNP preferred. Strong knowledge of NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and IOS configurations. Experience with Cisco Data Center and Enterprise platforms (Catalyst). Knowledge of VXLAN, LISP, BGP, OSPF Routing, Data Center Switching. Programming experience in Python and ROBOT. Knowledge of Ixia/Spirent test tools. Test and Validation experience. Advanced English proficiency (at least B2 level). Preferred Skills: Wireless WLC, gRPC. IOS-XR knowledge.
