Job Title: Strategic Sales Director for Spain Location: Barcelona (Remote possible within Spain with travel) Overview: - We have partnered with a globally recognised name in the logistics industry, launching operations in Spain as part of a strategic growth initiative. - This role combines strategic growth planning with hands-on business development, focusing on expanding the team and driving significant results in the region. Responsibilities: - Lead new sales activity for the country's air & sea freight activity - Strategically develop and lead a sales department to double the team size within the year - Establish, build, and drive the sales activity for the Spanish setup - Build a robust sales strategy focusing on air and sea freight products - Target small to medium-sized businesses, develop new relationships, and enhance existing networks - Collaborate with international offices across key trade lanes Candidate Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or team leadership within the freight forwarding industry - Bachelor's degree educated or equivalent - Strong understanding of air and sea freight logistics - Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish - Industry experience in logistics is preferred, with a strong track record in results-driven roles - Proven success and experience within the Spanish market
