For an American company, we are looking for a skilled #PostgreSQL back-end developer (API & Data Integration) to help connect AI-generated front-end applications (built using Loveable and Cursor) to a PostgreSQL data backend. You’ll join an agile, remote-first team building tools that bridge modern AI front ends with efficient and scalable data systems. You'll be responsible for developing queries, views, functions, and supporting API layers that serve dynamic data to modern web applications. Key Responsibilities: •Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, functions, and queries •Build database views and stored procedures to support front-end features •Optimize performance and indexing for live inventory and transactional data •Integrate with Supabase or other Postgres-compatible platforms as needed •Collaborate closely with our Spanish-speaking front-end team to ensure smooth data flow •Handle data validation, transformation, and reporting logic within the database •Document database structure and business logic for developer handoff Technical Requirements: •3+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL in a production environment •Strong SQL skills: joins, CTEs, window functions, indexes, and performance tuning •Experience creating stored procedures, triggers, and functions •Familiarity with REST APIs or Supabase Edge Functions •Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows for version control Bonus Skills: •Experience with Supabase or PostgREST •Familiarity with JavaScript or front-end data needs (coding not required) •Experience with data modeling for e-commerce or ERP systems •Strong reading and writing skills in English; speaking not required If you're strong in PostgreSQL and excited to work with cutting-edge web technologies, we’d love to hear from you.
