We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiasticPrincipal Software Engineer to lead, innovate, and join the teamthat is using cutting-edge technology to solve the most complex bigdata challenges to help our clients take back over 1.2 billion incash flow. Responsibilities 1. Design, develop and deliver highlyresilient, scalable, extensible, maintainable product and platformsolutions. 2. Coach and mentor engineers by giving thoughtfulfeedback on designs and code reviews to deliver high-qualityproducts and champion engineering excellence. 3. Providecost/benefit analysis to influence technology selection andarchitecture strategy to solve complex business problems. 4.Recommend, influence, and document technical solutions towardscomplex business problems working closely with other seniorengineers and technology leaders. 5. Be a trusted technology expertfor business and product management by accurately estimating andestablishing predictable delivery of new business capabilities. 6. Act as a senior technical member of distributed agile scrum team(s)by removing impediments and delivering high-quality sprint andrelease commitments. 7. Develop technology proof of concept toillustrate architecture concepts. Required Skills 1. 8+ years ofsoftware development experience utilizing to build enterprise-gradeproduct solutions. 2. 5+ years of experience designing, developing,and documenting RESTful APIs and microservices. 3. Strongunderstanding of concepts/technologies like MVC, Spring Boot,application/API security – SAML/OAuth, API governance, servicemesh, JPA, ORM, Lucene-based indexing and search tools. 4. Fluentwith object-oriented as well as functional programming. 5. Priorexperience designing and developing event-driven, high-volumemulti-tenant SaaS architectures and platforms. 6. Expert levelknowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and understanding keydifferences in their usage and applications. 7. Expert knowledgeworking with high-volume data streaming tools, preferably Kafkastreams. 8. Prior experience building data engineering pipelinesand processing big data workloads. 9. Expert level understandingwith designing and developing cloud-native applications using AWSor Azure managed services. 10. Experience with behavior-driven testdevelopment, preferably using Cucumber, Selenium is a big plus. 11. Proven experience leading agile scrum teams and guiding planningand estimation of development efforts for features and stories. 12. Prior experience with design and development of CI/CD pipelines,preferably using Jenkins to configure build jobs and promoteartifacts from development all the way to production. 13. Priorproven experience of utilizing and productionizingcontainer/container orchestration technologies like Docker,Kubernetes.
