About the role Responsible for providing information and analysis on the transportation needs of the organization for domestic dispatches, imports, and exports, controlling transportation-related costs, and ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness through data analytics. Ensure daily follow-up on OTIF (On Time In Full). Key responsibilities Supervise the transportation of food loads using partial or full trucks, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of loads to customers. Monitor the receipt of goods at customer locations, and in own and external warehouses. Verify and manage transportation invoices. Control transportation costs through effective negotiation. Guarantee the safety of loads during transportation. Track shipments, resolve transportation issues, and support the commercial area or internal clients. Have knowledge of Colombian road transportation regulations, RNDC and SICETAC management, and familiarity with GIS and BPM applied to transportation. Plan routes and vehicle occupancy in advance, manage relationships with transporters, optimize vehicle utilization, and coordinate the collection of empty and loaded containers for imports and exports. Propose and implement improvements in transportation processes, develop new processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs, analyze transportation data, and improve internal and external OTIF. Qualifications and skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory analysis, and industry-specific roles. Prior experience in transportation management, route planning, and optimization. Minimum educational qualification of technologist, business administrator, industrial engineer, or related fields such as quality, business administration, industrial engineering, or food engineering. Familiarity with Colombian food transportation regulations and practices. Proficiency in Spanish and knowledge of English. Customer focus, responsibility, results orientation, collaboration, teamwork, trust-building, proficiency with office tools, interpersonal skills, management indicators, report presentation, and basic knowledge of labor legislation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
