You'll manage the general ledger, implement robust financial controls, and develop scalable accounting automations.If you have a solid track record in audit or financial control, possess a genuine interest in accounting automation, and want the opportunity to push the limit of what you're capable of, then let's get in touch.What You'll Be DoingManaging finances and overseeing financial control in ColombiaOwning the general ledger and building an objective understanding of transactionsLooking for synergies and automation opportunities within Accounting and the wider Finance departmentCoordinating the accounting and month-end closing processEnsuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reportingPreparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accountsManaging the accounting policy, ensuring that it's up to date and latest changes in IFRS and group policies are implementedParticipating in annual and interim auditsContributing to and defining consolidation, financial control processes, and proceduresPreparing/reviewing management and statutory reportingWhat You'll Need15+ years of experience in finance functions, preferably within a banking or financial services environmentTo be a Chartered AccountantImpressive accounting knowledgeExcellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex accounting queriesThe ability to comprehend and narrate financial records to external stakeholdersTo have a positive attitude with a "can do" approach and willingness to give everything a go, from manual processing to larger projectsTo be a self-motivated individual with initiative and ambitionExceptional time management and organisation skills to plan, organise, and manage work effectively and within tight timeframesHigh proficiency with NetSuite ERPBuilding a global financial super app isn’t enough.
