Job Title: Operations Analyst As a key member of the Colombia Operations team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for controlling the end-to-end payments process. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where your strong leadership, project management skills, and attention to detail will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure BAU Execution is best in class, publishing periodic metrics and tracking reasons for deviation from agreed levels - Take end-to-end process responsibility, ensuring control over end-of-day reports, cut-offs, and critical reports - Respond to routine queries/complaints and ensure completeness - Identify opportunities for process efficiency and implement in a controlled manner - Exhibit effective communication with key stakeholders - Exercise good judgment and degree of confidentiality - Work with the team to achieve common objectives - Work in partnership with Local/Global Operations Risk Manager for QA Tests, MIS, Audit, etc. - Collaborate directly with senior managers to identify technology, resource, and/or process needs, and recommend solutions - Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality - Participate in complex projects and ensure that project deliverables are met with due diligence and system integration Qualifications Preferred: - Graduate in finance/accounting preferred - with experience in financial services industry - Experience and working knowledge of various aspects of international payment processing operations are mandatory (prior experience and knowledge of payments/fraud/compliance/sanctions screening are a plus) - Working/expert knowledge of domestic payment conventions and practices is a must - Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership, and direct experience dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time - Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior management - Experience of working/partnering with Risk, Audit, and Compliance to ensure overall organizational objectives are met Required: - Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical skills - Sound understanding of risk management, audit methodologies - Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business - A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of issues, and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate - Ability to use creative problem-solving techniques to solve business issues - Strong project management and analytical skills - Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
