This is a full-time, on-site position in Medellín . The role involves assisting with civil and family litigation cases, supporting attorneys with legal research, motion drafting, discovery preparation , and case file management , all conducted in English. You will be working closely with U.S. attorneys and handling key aspects of the litigation process from Colombia. This position includes full legal benefits in Colombia and offers an excellent opportunity for long-term professional growth in international legal practice. Responsibilities: Draft and prepare petitions, motions, pleadings, and discovery in English. Organize and manage litigation files, exhibits, and supporting documentation . Maintain consistent communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Coordinate directly with U.S.-based attorneys to support case strategy and progress. Track deadlines, filing dates, and ensure all legal documentation is submitted timely. Assist in reviewing case materials and preparing for hearings, depositions, or mediation. Requirements: Law student in final semester or licensed attorney in Colombia. Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory . Experience with civil or family litigation is highly preferred. Strong legal writing skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Previous experience working with U.S. legal systems or foreign clients is a plus.
