We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Software Engineer to join our Customer Success and Support (CSS) Data Engineering team. This role involves creating scalable, world-class data solutions and applications that drive critical decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Design and implement robust data solutions to support both analytics and data science teams Develop and optimize Datamart data models for use in analytics and reporting Build and maintain ETL pipelines that are efficient and maintainable Monitor incoming support tickets and resolve issues with minimal interactions, while ensuring clear documentation Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and address ad-hoc requests with detailed attention to requirements Develop scalable data solutions using Databricks SQL, Spark, and Python (PySpark) Utilize REST APIs for data integration and ensure seamless data flows across platforms Support and enhance data ingestion pipelines for specific use cases Operate in a 12/5 support model with the flexibility to provide on-call support when needed Deliver well-documented solutions to enable cross-functional teams to leverage the data effectively Requirements 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering roles High proficiency in SQL and strong working experience with Databricks SQL Extensive knowledge of Spark and Python, especially PySpark and integration with Airflow Proven expertise in data integration, modeling, and designing ETL pipelines General knowledge of big data technologies and AWS suite Capability to work with REST APIs for data integration Background in supporting data science teams through accessible and well-structured data models Familiarity with tools like Airflow for workflow orchestration Solid understanding of building scalable data solutions and using modern data infrastructure Nice to have Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. SQL), Spark, and column stores (e.g. Redshift) We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
