Job Duties Under broad direction, supports office and field operations related to well planning and BHA design and operation. Assists in publishing technical and commercial successes. Develops solutions for designing well plans, following anti-collision processes, BHA design modeling, and generating service design documentation. Creates reports using current software applications. Fully understands survey management principles and applies them to well planning. Develops and maintains relationships with the technical customer base. Consults with customers to identify their specific needs. Maintains well planning and BHA design databases and may prepare post-job analysis reports. Conducts post-job reviews, participates in failure investigations, and reports findings to customers. Supervises and peer-reviews work, mentors less experienced team members, and offers advice on equipment capabilities. Advises customers and field personnel on technical complexities and operations. Requirements include an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Engineering, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, including work at the well site.
